• metaph. the deceptions and seductions of idolatry

  I had developed a very concerning addiction to w*ed over the space of two years. In 2020, when I started having supernatural encounters with Jesus Christ and I gave my life back to Him, the Holy Spirit started healing me of multiple traumas.

One day I was sitting at my kitchen table and simply asked “Jesus, what do you think about the fact that I smoke w*ed?”

Two days later the addiction COMPLETELY left me.

W*tchcraft is a very serious thing and many people who smoke w*ed can fall into a psychosis. I had stopped so suddenly but the withdrawal symptoms were traumatising, I had panic attacks nonstop and I thought I was becoming schizophrenic. My therapist at the time wanted to book me into a clinic but I said no ways, Jesus said in the Bible that He will renew my mind, and I cried out to God, told Him I was sorry I didn’t know what I was doing and then what usually can become a lengthy or lifelong mental damage, God started setting me free of in a matter of days. My therapist was so shocked she didn’t even charge me for a single session.

I started sm*king it for medical reasons to alleviate physical pain in my body but also it seemed to numb me from pain I was experiencing in a relationship I was in at the time. Either way I became severely addicted and nobody knew.

Last year I was paging through my Bible and was shocked to see the word ‘dr*gs’ in the footnote in the book of Revelation. And it’s connected to the verse about s*rcery. Dr*gs, yes even w*ed, is a form of spiritual w*tchcraft & manipulation through a substance.

Many Christian’s and non Christian’s smoke w*ed or do some kind of dr*g including Pharmakeia.

One day in church one of the youth told me they smoked w*ed because it helped them with anxiety. It doesn’t I can tell you for a fact, it subdued the demon that is causing the anxiety and that’s all it is.

Jesus set me free overnight and three years later God uses me to deliver others of addictions and demonisation. He can do the same for you. We have to repent and let God deliver us from evil. It’s a choice.

‘GATES’ AND GATEWAY DRUGS

Doors and Gates in the Bible are used in scripture for the exact reason of being an entry and en exit. A gate is something either God or the demonic enters through. It depends on who we are giving access to in our body, mind, spirit, physical homes and lives.

The term ‘Gateway drug’ is aptly names because it is an entry into deeper addictions and spiritually it is a way the demonic enters a persons life, through the gate of addiction.

What Are Gateway Drugs?

Gateway drugs are often those people experiment with as the first step in drug use. These are drugs that teens often use because they are readily available to obtain. Experimenting with these drugs can lead to health complications, especially when people consume them in large amounts. Yet, they carry less of an overall risk of addiction. Some examples of gateway drugs include:

• Marijuana: Though many states have legalized it for various uses, marijuana carries is a high-risk. Over time, it becomes less potent and effective, leading some people to use other, more dangerous drugs.

• Cigarettes: This type of gateway drug may offer some addictive risk itself. Cigarettes often teach the brain that the pleasure or relief they offer is worth seeking out. That changes the function of the reward center in the brain, leading to future needs for drug use.

• Alcohol: Many teens and young adults drink alcohol as a way to get intoxicated. Yet, over time, addiction can form. It can also lead to health complications itself, including alcoholism.

• Prescription drugs: Many people have access to habit-forming prescription drugs. This may include prescription painkillers or medications used to treat anxiety. These drugs can cause a high and, as they do, lead to the need to use more potent substances. When people can’t secure more prescription drugs to satisfy their habit, they may move to something that’s easier to obtain like heroin.

In Gods eye’s all of the above leads to destruction and all are a form of sorcery and manipulation over a persons mind through a substance, legal or illegal, nevertheless dangerous and an open ‘door’ or ‘gate’ to the demonic in peoples lives.

Many christians struggle, So did I until I got deliverance.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-20

The crazy thing is until 3 years ago, I fitted into every category of the above despite the fact that I loved Jesus all my life. I was not actually living in obedience to God and I was also under the influence of demons including 3 or 4 years of having very strong bisexual urges and attractions that I also acted on.

Many christians struggle with lust, many if not all. So did I until I got deliverance.

I have never been to a church that teaches s*xual purity and it is shocking to me since I learned the hard way why God gave us guidelines against se*ual immorality, m*sturbation, flirting, seducing, watching anything of a s*xual nature, intercourse in dating relationships. Most churches teach grace but few teach obedience, true sanctification and the fear of God.

There is a misconception that simply being a Christian means you are saved and going to heaven. No, being a christian who is living in repentance and obedience to God gets you to heaven because if you love Jesus Christ, you will do whatever it takes to pray to be delivered and to then walk in obedience to God and be sanctified.

- 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, is not for unbelievers only, its is also for believers who are not willing to repent and live in obedience and be delivered.

When I went through deliverance It turned out that I had to be released of se*ual soul ties that were developed through the p*rn I watched since a child, and m*sturbation. When I repented, demons literally started leaving my body despite the fact that I was a saved and baptised christian.

Many Christians are not exeriencing being set free of demons, not because they are not manisfesting so they must not have any, but because the anointing for deliverance is not either over the church they go to or becasue they avoid the topic or many who dont realise they need to repent FOR REAL. A sunday sinners prayer is not biblical, it does not set you free. Only your heart towards wanting to be set free and living in obedience to God sets you free. It is actually a problem that so many christians are not aware that they need deliverance despite the obvious signs.

Its is pride, ignorance and often fear too.

Most people dont know that you develop a soul tie with people on a screen. Religious people are going to say 'where is that in the Bible' and all sorts of things I get told.

Jesus took lust very seriously even saying 'if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out' yes not literally but basically it is that serious.

Maybe not all people reading this watch p*orn but its safe to say 98% do. If you dont watch it then you probably watch netflix, youtube, music all kinds of secular things that is the same as watching p*orn because the spirit that enters through that is the same spirit of lust.

Get deliverance, it will help you live in obedience. Stop compromising your salvation for your ignorance.

WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?

Dictionary definition:

Deliverance (noun): deliverance; plural noun: deliverances. The action of being rescued or set free.

Bible testimonies:
Let’s look at some proof and scenarios where Jesus, set people free and healed them. The ministry of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, not only came to be an atonement and sacrifice for our sins, He also came to reveal the heart of the Father in Heaven and to do the will and work of the Father on earth. By the power of the Holy Spirit, He carried the gospel of the Kingdom of God, preaching repentance, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, all with the intent to set the captives free. Captives who are still enslaved by the devil in spiritual and physical bondage (possession and oppression). Ultimately bringing people separated from God who created us, because of sin, Jesus came to reunite us with the Father. He is the only way, the only Truth and the Life in which we have a place in eternity with God and abundant life on earth and in Heaven. He also came to destroy the work of the devil and all powers and principalities of darkness being put under His feet, the authority given to Jesus by the Father is now given to us as believers of Christ who are saved, redeemed and born again.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED DELIVERANCE OF DEMONS?

There are parts of the Body of Christ that believe that the ministry of deliverance ended with death of the apostles. This is a deterrent to Christians today who have opened or others have opened the doors to the demonic in their lives. The belief that Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit ‘cant have demons’ leaves many in a state of confusion and bondage with little to no way to live the free and abundant life Christ gives us. We do not believe that the ministry of deliverance and healing ended with the apostles because it was truly the purpose and power of the Holy Spirit and not the apostles themselves. We also believe that today, deliverance is needed far more because of the ease of access to addictions (drugs/alcohol/fast food/gambling/virtual gaming), pornography and sexual activities (online content/offline content/strip clubs/sex parties/secular movies/secular music) and many things that the Jewish people in scripture was largely not accustomed to as we are today.
